Operations Manager – Nairobi – Centre for Health Solutions

Centre for Health Solutions – Kenya (CHS) is an indigenous, not-for-profit organisation that utilises local expertise and strategic partnerships to ensure the implementation of evidence-informed solutions and interventions to existing and emerging public health concerns.

CHS is currently sourcing for a high calibre, self-motivated and dynamic individual to fill the following position: –

OPERATIONS MANAGER: 005/CHS/OM/2015

Overall Job Function
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Director, the incumbent shall be responsible for ensuring operational support to CHS and its programs.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring transparent and efficient procurement management processes
Developing, monitoring and overseeing the implementation of Service Level Agreements for both internal and external customers
Ensuring fleet and logistics management
Collaborating in the oversight of the management and maintenance of existing infrastructure
Supervising, coordinating and developing the administration officers and drivers in their various capacities
Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Qualification and Skills Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or its equivalent
Advance diploma in CIPS
Five (5) years relevant experience in procurement, logistics and general operations
Experience working with Ministry of Health is an added advantage
Demonstrated working knowledge of USG rules and regulations
Good analytical and reporting skills
Excellent organisational and management skills
Self-management (i.e. motivation, dealing with pressure, adaptability) and the ability to to project a professional, consistent image of confidence, integrity, and competence.
