Project
EU project named: Strengthening livelihoods for rural agro-pastoralists in Kitui East sub-county, Kitui county, Kenya

Responsibilities
Community mobilization;
Delivery of training on Conservation agriculture for sorghum, green grams and horticulture;
Delivery of training on beekeeping;
Follow up on beneficiaries’ activities;
Delivery of training on marketing of products;
Accurate and detailed work within tight deadlines;
Assist the day-to-day operations

Qualifications
Diploma in one of the following: Agriculture, Agribusiness, Natural resource management, horticulture, or any relate field;

At least 3 years’ experience in development sector, preferably working with NGOs;

Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel, Word and Power Point);

Knowledge of IPM, value chain, CA is a plus.

Experience
Experience in community mobilization, delivery of agricultural training, report writing, establishment and management of demo plots;

Experience in liaising with local institution.
