Pre-Sales Engineer – Genesis Consult

Job Purpose: Contributes to bookings growth and customer success through participation in Framework delivery team.

Designs and builds business solutions and supports functions based upon identified business requirements and use cases.

Functions in teams with other technical and business professionals focused on building, maintaining and supporting solution frameworks for the target industry.

Job Summary: The position collaborates with sales, services and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.

Mandatory Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in system integration, network deployment.
Rich experience in HP, EMC and Oracle
Great understanding in Server and storage design

Responsibilities:
Understanding the requirements of the client or the company with regard IT systems – both software and hardware.
§ Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the organization.
Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
Designing computer systems solutions/ network solutions and related aspects based on client needs.
Designing and implementation of application and effective solutions.
Analyze and plan various models before deciding on the best one.
Testing the systems and ensuring that they meet technical and functional requirements
Keeping track of the developments of computer architecture and new hardware and software solutions.
Providing troubleshooting solutions in case client faces problem with systems.
Guiding the marketing and sales executives if there is any need of technical experience.
Provides regular updates to leads on project progress and outstanding issues
Prepare and present regular project status report for internal and external stakeholders.
Act as a prime point of contact with the customer for all technical issues during all postsales phases including field integration and customer acceptance.
Interface with external third party vendors and internal cross functional teams to ensure ontime delivery of technical solutions, and compliance for product specifications and accuracy.
Lead on-site troubleshooting efforts, and work with engineering and sales teams for a quick resolution.
Support project/program management for project planning, scheduling, technical risk assessment and mitigation.
Responsible for technical aspects of end-to-end solutions delivery, deployment, system integration, and customer acceptance of the project.
Execute other responsibilities and key result areas as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering or information technology.
Post graduate degree an added advantage
Certifications related to system and network architecture; e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, HP, EMC, vmware
