Marketing Manager – Nairobi – Africa Management Solutions Ltd

Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership to the marketing team
Build brand equity and manage it over time
Prepare and implement brand based marketing plans
Identify potential and emerging business opportunities for the company’s products.
Ensure market share and sales volumes are met
Carry out market surveys and retails audits
Manage the steps of strategically building strong brands
Manage promotional merchandising and consumer awareness activities in the market.
Develop brand identity and positioning strategies and ensure that they are consistent over time.
Develop segmentation strategies and consumer brand profiles
Develop and manage brand associations, personality’s symbols and slogans.
Introducing and naming new brands and brand extensions
Measure and interpret brand performance
Manage the relationships between the company and the marketing services providers, advertising agencies, public relations firms and marketing research companies
Manage the marketing function budget.

Qualifications
MBA in marketing and must have studied Brand Management at the Graduate level
B.Com (Marketing Option)
5years experience in Brand Management in fast moving Consumer Goods(FMCG)

Self-motivated, independent, solution orientated, deadline-driven individual with strong time management skills
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and strategic thinker
Project a professional image, lead by example, encourage team work and compliance with work processes and procedures
