Reporting to the project architect the senior building supervisor will be responsible for:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervision of construction works in NHC projects as assigned by the project Architect and ensuring that works are carried out to specification
Supervise maintenance tasks on NHC developed properties.
Work with the contractor to ensure a safe, secure and healthy work environment by enforcing safe site procedures.
Ensure a safe and conducive work environment in the site.
Ensuring construction projects milestone are achieved as defined in the project scope and that designs are adhered to.
Scheduling and co-coordinating site personnel, supervising sub-contractors, resolving design problems and implementing any change orders.
Responsible for handling over completed houses and Co-ordination of post contract activities in the defects liability period.
Coordinates and attends site meetings and prepares briefs to the project Architect on progress made on site.
Maintain a register of daily materials usage.
Prepare daily & weekly progress reports by the contractor.

Job Requirements
Possess KCSE mean grade C minimum or equivalent.
Have Higher Diploma in Building Construction (Structures option) from KNEC or other recognized institution or Construction Technician III Certificate
Have twelve (12) years’ experience as a building supervisor or Clerk of Works, six (6) years of which must have been served after attaining Higher Diploma or Certificate.
Be computer literate
This Position is on a One (1) year contract basis renewable based on performance and projects.
