Chairperson – County Government of Meru

The management of the Board shall vest in the Board which will be chaired by a chairperson.

The chairperson shall sit in meetings, make resolutions, monitor and facilitate the implementation of the functions conferred by legislation.

Requirements
Be a Kenyan citizen
Be a holder of a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya (A master’s degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration / Public Administration will be an added advantage)
Has experience of at least ten years in senior level management in public or private sector and
Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution

The term of office shall be three years, and may be renewed for a further one term, which will be served on a part-time basis.
