The digital copywriter/social media manager is a position we’re hiring in our Nairobi office. The role will report to the Head of Strategy and Operations, Pulse KE.Duties and responsibilities
Ideation: Be leading the process of ideation for Social Media content creation for existing clients as well as potential clients.
Creation: Create (self or in collaboration with Graphics Team) the content, incl reverts from clients and internal teams.
Posting: Post the created content with strategy, timeliness and/or according to plan in the right way, channel and manner. If necessary boost content with the media budget given to its best performance (according to KPIs given)
Community Management: Answer comments and DM’s for the content created in a timely and correct manner.
Reporting: Report links posted and numbers achieved for the created content in the given formats and timelines by Account Management.
Recommendations: Summarize learnings and help come up with recommendations for the reports in the given formats and timelines by Account Management.
Optimize: Continuously optimize. Check reports and numbers, try new things and optimize content created, every day of the week. Consider past learnings and recommendations as well as changing algorithms, platforms and trends to do so.
Team: Work closely with Account Management, Graphics, Sales and also Content team to create the best outcome.
Overall: Create a positive learning environment for the team and always question the status quo. Work with the highest precision on executions.
Innovation: Keep up to date with the latest Social Media channels and trends to build knowledge into client work. Gather information through Competitor Analysis as well as information sharing with the Content team.

Digital marketing knowledge & social media platforms and tools knowledge is a MUST
