Daily briefings of the Housekeeping team.
Daily inspection of the public areas and employees locker rooms.
Coordinating the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and public areas with the Maintenance department.
Ensure the rooms are made as per the company standards.
Preparation of Annual Housekeeping budget.
Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and Uniforms.
Organize inventories with Accounts and general store for Linen, uniform and fixed Assets.
Pay particular attention while organizing pest eradication activities and fumigation.
Prepare reports for Management information.
Assist Procurement department in selecting supplies for items related to Housekeeping.
Attending and resolving guest complaints relating to Housekeeping.
Organize on-job training and evaluate its effectiveness.
Recommend recruitment of new personnel.
Ensuring compliance to sanitation, hygiene, health and safety legislation and organisational and quality requirements and working policies and procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
A holder of a Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or its equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large facility required, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Ability to maintain a budget
Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision making skills ability
Self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to work in a fast paced, diverse environment
Proven leadership, developer and delegation skills with an ability to lead employees to achieve the departmental goals
Excellent problem solver and decision make
