Planning, Monitoring, and Knowledge Management Intern – Council of County Governors – Nairobi

The specific duties and responsibilities will include:
Assist in the Monitoring and Evaluation unit of the Department.
Assist in the Planning and Strategy unit of the Department.
Assist in the implementation of the standard operating procedures for monitoring and evaluation.
Assist in the monitoring of implementation of the Council Strategic Plan.
Assist in the receiving, collation and analyzing of quarterly reports from the Committees and Department.
Assist in implementing of Council decisions that relate to the Department mandate.
Assist in the planning and coordination of the Semi-annual and Annual review meetings.
Assist in the development and dissemination of the Annual Statutory Report.
Assist in the development and dissemination of the State of Devolution Address.
Assist in the coordination of activities related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
The Assignments will be task managed by the Council of Governors Committee supervised by and reporting to the Program Officer –
Monitoring and Evaluation.
Duration of the assignment
The internship duration is for a period of six (6) months.

Required Qualifications
Have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation;
Certificate in Computer applications.
Experienced in undertaking comprehensive research;
Outstanding Interpersonal, analytical and communication skills;
Ability to follow deadlines, accuracy and attention to detail;
A high level of computer literacy and proficient in written and spoken English and Kiswahili; and
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
