The Service Sales Technician Position
The Service Sales Technician Position reports to the Service Sales Supervisor of the Company and is responsible for the following:
Installing, testing, commissioning and servicing and maintenance of fire extinguishers, fire alarm and detection system, fire hydrants, fire hose reels, fire pumps, fire suppression and sprinkler system to ensure they are properly installed, maintained, and functioning properly
Fire Inspection to premise/ commercial buildings for fire and giving recommendations in term of reports and drawings
Performing fire inspections to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
Training other employees on how to use fire extinguishers and other equipment used for fire suppression
Installing new fire extinguishers in public areas such as hallways, stairwells, kitchens, and bathrooms
Operating fire extinguishers using handheld mechanisms or from a distance using hose-reels or other automated devices
Disposing of hazardous waste materials generated during firefighting operations
Conducting fire drills to ensure that all employees know what to do in case of an emergency fire situation
Qualifications and Attributes
Qualified candidates should have the following qualifications and attributes:
Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Electrical Engineering from recognized institution with three (3) year experience
Registration with a professional body or proof of eligibility for registration.
Proof of course attendance in leadership, project management or sales and marketing.
Ability to lead a team of technical people.
Integrity, self-drive, team work and communication skills.
