Set up in 2008, Equinox is a 24 hectare rose production and export business set in the shadow of Mt Kenya at 2,000m asl producing long stemmed large head t-hybrid roses exclusively for the Dutch Auction Markets.

The Position: The farm having reached development potential and maturity, we are looking for a dynamic Farm Manager who as a focussed self-starter, will manage the business and work with his/her management and technical teams in order to sustain continuous improvement in yield and quality.

Reporting to the CEO specific responsibilities include:
Building on the technical management systems in place to deliver improved yield and quality, year-on-year
Maintain established quality management standards (ISO-9001) and Social (MPS-SQ) and Environmental standards (MPS A*)
Initiating continuous improvement programmes to maximise margin and profit.
Providing leadership and direction for all our Management and Employees.
Developing & presenting to Board technical and financial plans/budgets and results (Bi-annual)

The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced individual with a combination of strong technical and motivational management skills.

Minimum five years experience required at a senior management level. In horticulture is an advantage
